Nigeria School : Lagos state set resumption dates for public and private schools

The Lagos state Goverment has fixed 18th of January, 2021, for resumption of both public and private schools. The Lagos State Government made this announcement on Monday, saying all public and private schools below tertiary level in Lagos State will reopen for the second term 2020/21 academic session, from Monday, 18th of January, 2021. The Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo said the decision is in line with the federal government directive.
The commissioner urged schools to implement policies such as , wearing of facemasks at all times, physical distancing, regular hand washing and other covid 19 policies.
The commissioner advised Schools to implement online learning platforms to reduce the need for physical contact, as more regulations will be put in place.
