The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) successfully screened 16,097 candidates during the 2024 Post-UTME exercise held from Thursday, August 29, to Saturday, August 31, 2024. The university had previously announced that admission would be based on three key criteria: 50% from the aggregate UTME/DE score, 30% from the Post-UTME score, and 20% from the five O’level grades.

Prof. Kamil Rauf, Director of the Computer-Based Centre (CBT) at UNILORIN, expressed satisfaction with the smooth execution of the screening process. In a statement released via the university’s X account (formerly Twitter) @UnilorinNGR, Prof. Rauf highlighted the prompt release of the screening results as a major achievement. He attributed this success to the significant material and human resources support provided by the University management, led by Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, and the advanced technological innovations implemented.

Many candidates were reportedly pleased with the swift release of their Post-UTME results.
