The 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results for school candidates have been officially declared by the West African Examination Council. During a press conference held on Monday, Mr. Patrick Areghan, the Head of Nigeria Office, expressed his happiness and thanked God as he, on behalf of the Council's Registrar, Management, and Staff, welcomed the media to the briefing. The purpose of the briefing was to formally announce the availability of the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results for school candidates in Nigeria.

- You will receive a message instantly containing your WAEC statement of result.
SMS charges will be applied when checking your WASSCE result using text messages.

To check your WAEC Result, visit www.waecdirect.org and log in. Please note: you may need a WAEC scratch card to check. Follow the procedures below to check your WAEC result for 2023.

- Enter your Examination Number
- Select Examination Type e.g May/June
- Select Exams Year e.g 2023
- Click on Check Result
