Kogi State Sets To Conduct Competency Tests, Taking Cue From Kaduna State Govt

The Kogi govt has revealed plan to conduct competency tests in public schools in the state.
After the recent competency test, conducted by Kaduna state government to measure how competent its teachers are. Delegates from Kogi state had visited Kaduna to be informed on the process that was taken towards carrying out to test. Reports have it that Kogi state might be taking a cue from Kaduna State Government.

Kogi state Commissioner for Education, Hon. J.S Tolorunleke who led the state's delegation to Kaduna state said they were in the state to understudy the competency test conducted for primary school teachers in public schools so as to replicate the same in Kogi state.

While commending Governor El-Rufai for his political will to implement this educational reform, he assured that Governor Yahaya Bello will do the same in Kogi.
