The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reminded prospective candidates that the processes for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) are personal and should be completed individually. JAMB emphasized that candidates, not schools or agents, must handle their registration. 

In a bulletin released on Monday, September 9, JAMB clarified that its operations are not school-based. The board stated, "Many challenges candidates face result from group processing, often leading to inaccuracies and complications in their records."

JAMB further noted that a significant number of correction requests arise from errors made during group registrations by schools. As a result, the board will no longer accommodate correction requests from candidates whose details were compromised due to group processing. 

Parents are advised to ensure their children complete the registration process themselves to avoid such issues.
